Anime Review 10 Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge

If I'm being completely honest here, at first I didn't really like this anime. It seemed super pointless, albeit relatable. So I started the first episode and thought to myself "there are better things to watch" so I stopped as soon as I started to watch other things. A few months go by and I stumble upon a gif of it on Tumblr. I should really stop going on Tumblr. It tempts me with all the anime I need to watch. That reminds me of how I also stopped watching Nisekoi. I should really give that another shot.

{Not Spoiler Free} <---I don't know why I put that even though most of the time there are actually no spoilers. I'm just super paranoid or something.

Anyway after my initial dislike of the series I decided to attempt to watch it again because Tumblr. This is really just a fluffy, pretty much plotless anime which is to be expected I suppose since it is a comedy series. I find it very peaceful to watch. It's a good series to watch right before you go to bed, at least for me it is. Seeing Tanaka dozing off even inside the haunted house is so relaxing.

All of the characters are really lovable although Tanaka is pretty much me all the time in school. ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ I think all of them are really interesting because they're all contradictions. Like Oota looks like a scary person, but he's really kind, hardworking, and loves sweets. And Shiraishi who's super popular, but is actually really dorky. It's just nice that all of them aren't really who they seem like at first glance.

Also CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT THE OP?! Omfg my heart. Its so cute. Especially the ending. Tanaka realizing that he can't live without his friends even though as a listless person you would think he doesn't really care about friendship but he really does so awhhhh

Overall I definitely recommend this anime if you're looking for a relaxing, uplifting anime to cheer you up. By the way, some of the comedy is really funny like Echizen and the cookie fiasco with Miyano and Echizen vs. Tanaka in games. (ノ>▽<。)ノ

If we're being honest here, the first time I saw these transitions I laughed so much

MY HEART

Unbelievably relatable
